Oregonians know him for his attempt to overthrow the will of the people by threatening legal action against doctors who helped terminally ill patients end their lives under the Death With Dignity Act. He also crusaded to protect Americans from the grave threat posed by beautifully handcrafted glass bongs and pipes. His claim to fame is bringing a total of zero terrorists to justice, even after congress and the president provided sweeping new sneak-and-peek powers in a knee-jerk reaction to the 9/11 catastrophe.
