Pay no attention to this article. There is no truth to the statement, "Eli Lilly paid over two million dollars in campaign contributions to the Republican party in 2000 and 2002." Not at all. However, if there were a relationship between Eli Lilly and the Republicans, it wouln't have had any impact on their insertion of a rider into the Homeland Security Act which protects Eli Lilly from lawsuits.
