I really hope that China shames us in their new status as a space-faring nation. I hope they set communist moon bases and go to Mars before we do. It would serve us right for largely abandoning the once-lofty ambitions of our space program. It would also be nice if they developed flying cars. I'm going to start learning to speak Chinese, and on the day they land on the moon I'm defecting.
