Don't be sad

I had a conversation last night where I talked to someone about how dismal the job outlook was. However, according to this article there's nothing to fear, for the jobs are going to bounce back and all of us programmers will be making six figures in a couple months. lol j/k.

The problem I’ve seen first hand is that many MANY of these cheap employees in India, China, and Russia are so poorly trained it's almost laughable...laughable if they were not taking my job. I actually know of several who are working based on forged B.S. and Masters degrees. A lot of the schools in those countries are also jokes. 350,000 a year... that’s nothing more than a degree factory. Graduating people to bring in foreign investment and jobs. Some of these graduates can barely even operate a computer. Believe me, I work with a few who graduated from Indian universities. On a positive note some companies are seeing that these employees are not actually cheaper since productivity suffers when they move their development overseas. Until things change I'll just have to hope for a preemptive strike from Pakistan or North Korea. I figure that will open up a few jobs for me and my homies.....

I wouldn't be surprised if Pakistan is secretly getting funding from laid-off American tech workers...
