I got to work an hour ago and I'm playing with the new cat. I decided to name him 'Battlecat II' (because I already named the neighbors' cat Battlecat) and we've been having an interesting conversation. He says, "mrrowwr...?" to which I retort, "mwrowr." Seriously, Battlecat II is about eight, so he's a little frazzled but still well-mannered and cuddly. It's fun. I think most of his meowing is in protest of his name, since his battling days are far behind him. He's an American Shorthair mix. He lived in this house before the company I work for rented it, and the landlord suggested him when we told him we were thinking of getting a cat.
